Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the Project Cargo business.
- Optimize cargo mix, customer mix, and pricing policies.
- Guide trade teams to align with financial and strategic goals.
- Financial Performance
- Own and manage the P&L for Project Cargo trades.
- Ensure competitiveness and achieve above-industry financial performance.
- Business Development & Market Expansion
- Drive sales strategies and customer solutions.
- Identify new project cargo opportunities and diversify customers.
- Improve processes, product setup, and operational efficiency.
- Long Haul Trade Governance
- Oversee cross-trade initiatives such as budgeting, equipment planning, ISP, and VAS planning.
- Lead projects and collaborate with multiple internal teams.
- Monitor cargo routing and margins to ensure optimal trade performance.
- Value-Added Services (VAS) Development
- Support strategy and rollout of VAS products for trades.
- Help define value propositions and promote upselling to customers.
- Track VAS performance and manage the opportunity pipeline.
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 10 years trade management or related experience with a global liner
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
