As an individual contributor this exciting and challenging "hands-on" position will see you manage, monitor, execute and support the full spectrum of procurement activities.
To be successful in the position you should be based in Singapore and have at least 5 years of proven "hands-on" procurement experience overseeing and executing the full spectrum of procurement functions. You should have experience dealing with dry dockings ideally in the offshore (FPSO, FSRU, etc) or oil and gas space.
You will be actively involved in all aspects of procurement:
- Contract negotiations with suppliers and vendors
- Staying current on price movements for stores, spares, equipment, and services
- Proactively assessing ways to optimize cost savings and turnaround time for stores, spares, equipment, and services required for docking or new building projects
- Assessing vendors quality and performance
- Day to day purchasing operations
- Develop purchase forecast and expenditure report
- Provide relevant support to company's procurement efforts
