Job Description

Faststream are looking Principal Electrical Engineers to join a major Engineering Consultancy on an initial 12 month contract to work on the FEED and Pre FEED for Energy Transition projects.

You will have experience of designing large industrial power systems. The experience shall include:
  1. a) conceptual designs for onshore and / or offshore project
  2. b) sizing and selection of 110kV / 11kV equipment, Large Frequency convertors,  AC/ DC UPS systems etc.
  3. c) Development of philosophies
  4. d) Power Systems Studies (ETAP or equivalent).
  5. e) Brownfield tie-ins at existing plants.
This is a hybrid working role with 3 days in office and 2 days from home. The role is for an initial 12months and is likely to be outside IR35 subject to a final review.
