Faststream are working with an established Tanker Management company based in Athens. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join the business to lead the day to day Operational Management of their fleet, made up of both Tankers and Chemical vessels.
Candidates should have strong man management skills as they will be managing a team of 10+ Operators and Analysts as well as overall responsibility for operational management. Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and optimisation of vessel performance
- Overseeing voyage according to C/P requirements
- Preloading and pre-discharging plans
- Cargo claims / demurrage
- Budgeting, cost control and financial reporting
Candidates should have significant experience in tanker operations and ideally have a 5 years+ in a leadership role within the tanker sector. Previous sea going experience would also be favourable.
