We have a new opportunity for an Marine Personnel Officer to join Northern Marine group, supporting a diverse fleet and international crew base.

Reporting to: Personnel Manager 
Location: India, Mumbai 

Overview:
Northern Marine Manning group is seeking a Marine Personnel Officer to support the delivery of crewing operations across vessels under management. The Marine Personnel Officer will act as a key point of contact for seafarers, coordinating crew changes, managing personnel administration, and working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective crew planning and support.

Required skill set and experience:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent demonstrable experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role or within the marine sector

  • Experience managing multiple personnel related KPIs and operational objectives

  • Experience working within an international or global organisation

  • Knowledge of crew management systems such as COMPAS

  • Strong understanding of maritime regulations including STCW, MLC, and ISM

  • Knowledge of flag state and statutory requirements for seafarers

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multinational seafarers

  • Experience liaising with port agents, manning agents, and other key stakeholders
