We are looking for a shore based Marine Electronic Technician to work for our client in Miami. You will be working on vessels when in port in Miami.
Responsibilities would include managing the installation and repair of wiring, fixtures and equipment for electrical services on board and in the terminal and offices.
You would be working from electrical schematics, investigating and diagnosing faults of existing equipment as well as performing planned maintenance.
You will be able to install, fault find and repair shipboard electrical equipment, verifying it's quality and condition.
Demonstrate experience in maintaining equipment records and inventories of spare parts.
This is for a very well established company, with low staff turnover and a friendly work environment.
The role pays an hourly rate with overtime and benefits.
You will need to be a US Citizen or US Green Card holder as sponsorship will not be available.
