We are pleased to support a leading international law firm in the search for a junior to mid-level Associate to join its Maritime, Trade & Offshore Finance team in Singapore.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of marine asset finance, banking, and project finance transactions across the Asia-Pacific region, including matters involving Korea, China (including Hong Kong), and Singapore. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced partners and colleagues on high-profile, cross-border deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on marine asset finance, banking, and project finance transactions
- Draft and review financing and leasing documentation
- Support the negotiation and execution of transaction documents
- Conduct legal research and transaction support
- Assist with client relationship management and file administration
Attributes / Skills Required
- Qualified lawyer admitted in Singapore, England & Wales, or another recognised common law jurisdiction
- Demonstrated finance law experience within private practice, including exposure to asset finance, project finance, and/or banking finance, ideally gained at a leading Singapore or UK law firm
- Strong academic background
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external professional networks
- Intellectually curious and commercially minded, with the ability to think laterally, work independently, and remain organised and resilient in a fast-paced environment
