Faststream is currently searching for a junior Chartering Manager to join a very reputable and successful ship owner in Hamburg.
This role will be to focus on MPP vessels, being responsible for calculating freight rates, understanding client requirements, negotiating contract details, tender management, monitoring vessel space and availability and developing new accounts. Training and a close team will be provided with strong support within the office. You will need to have completed your Ausbildung or a traineeship within the shipping industry for this role and ideally have the right to work in Germany.
You will be joining a strong name in the market with room for progression and exposure to all aspects of the business. There is a clear approach in encouraging employees to learn and progress as well as a strong ethic of teamwork.
