Faststream Recruitment has been exclusively retained by a well-respected and leading ship owner to identify, attract, and engage an experienced and high-performing Global Procurement Head to be based in Singapore.
In this senior level position, you will be responsible for optimizing, developing, managing, and continuously improving category strategies, procurement spend, digitalization efforts and relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
We are looking for a seasoned procurement professional with an in-depth and thorough understanding of strategic, tactical procurement and category management. You will also be an advocate for e-procurement and using technology and digitization to improve the procurement function.
This position will suit someone who enjoys a mix of strategic and operational procurement management, where you are responsible for planning and executing the global procurement strategy and direction of the business.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the shipping and maritime industry and would have ideally worked with a ship-owner or ship-manager previously in a senior procurement position.
