In this senior capacity, you will guide the overall framework for health, safety, security, quality and environmental performance. Drawing on your background as a former Master Mariner, you will bring practical shipboard insight into shaping policies, strengthening governance and driving behavioural improvements across both fleet and shore organisations. Your experience in the tanker segment will be essential in ensuring robust risk management, compliance and operating standards as the organisation continues to strengthen and expand its footprint. Working closely with senior leaders across technical, crewing, operations and corporate functions, you will champion a strong safety culture, elevate organisational resilience and support ongoing business transformation.
Key Requirements
- Former Master Mariner with substantial experience, at sea and ashore, working with tanker vessels - oil, chemical, product, etc.
- Strong, proven leadership background overseeing HSSEQ strategy within the maritime sector
- Deep understanding of SIRE2.0, ISM, ISPS, TMSA, OCIMF and other relevant regulatory frameworks
- Proven capability in audits, incident investigations, risk management and continuous improvement
