We are currently supporting a leading global marine services provider is seeking a Group Fleet System Engineer to join its technical team in Rotterdam.
This role focuses on the development and continuous improvement of the Ship Maintenance System (SMS) across a diverse fleet of modern vessels. Key responsibilities include building vessel-specific maintenance structures, integrating technical documentation, and providing training and support to shore staff and crew. The engineer will also liaise with the SMS software provider and contribute to data quality, reporting, and departmental projects.
Requirements
- Seafaring background with onboard experience
- 1–3 years in the maritime or offshore industry, preferably with SMS exposure
- Strong communication skills and an analytical mindset
- Candidates must already be based in the Rotterdam area
