We are partnering with a global shipping organization to hire a qualified Finance Controller for their Singapore office.
To be considered you should hold a Masters/Bachelor's qualification in Finance or Accounting. ACA, ACCA or CPA qualified accountant. Relevant working experience within the maritime industry will be critical to excel in this position.
Reporting to the CFO, you are responsible for the day to day accounting operation for the business. Review and monitor budget and forecasts, ensuring forecasts are realistic, flagging out areas of concern and proposing solutions where necessary. Cost control and evaluating capital expenditure requests. Ensure accounting operations comply to required statutory, financial and tax requirements, as well as legal requirements. Identify and advise senior leaders in the business on investment and hedging opportunities, risk exposure and investment benefits.
