The Company:
We are working with an offshore engineering consultancy dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for the maritime industry. With a strong focus on naval architecture and offshore engineering, they provide comprehensive services to clients worldwide. They are seeking a talented and passionate Graduate Naval Architect to join our dynamic team.

The Role: 

As a Graduate Naval Architect with a passion for offshore engineering, you will play a key role in projects involving the design, analysis, and construction of offshore structures. You will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge engineering solutions, working closely with a team of experienced professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment. 

Responsibilities-
  • Collaborate with senior naval architects and engineers to develop innovative designs for offshore structures, such as platforms, floating structures, and subsea systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering calculations related to offshore projects.
  • Utilize advanced software tools to conduct structural, mooring and hydrodynamic analyses, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings, contribute to design reviews, and provide technical support throughout all stages of project execution.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry advancements and emerging technologies in offshore engineering, and proactively apply this knowledge to enhance project performance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including marine engineers, structural designers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
The Person: 
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture or a related field.
  • Strong academic background, ideally with a focus on offshore engineering and structural analysis.
  • Solid understanding of naval architecture principles, hydrodynamics, and offshore engineering concepts.
  • Ideally have exposure to relevant software e.g. OrcaFlex, SACS, ANSYS, MOSES.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
