They are seeking a talented and passionate Graduate Naval Architect to join our dynamic team.
The Role:
As a Graduate Naval Architect with a passion for offshore engineering, you will play a key role in projects involving the design, analysis, and construction of offshore structures. You will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge engineering solutions, working closely with a team of experienced professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities-
- Collaborate with senior naval architects and engineers to develop innovative designs for offshore structures, such as platforms, floating structures, and subsea systems.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering calculations related to offshore projects.
- Utilize advanced software tools to conduct structural, mooring and hydrodynamic analyses, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings, contribute to design reviews, and provide technical support throughout all stages of project execution.
- Stay updated with the latest industry advancements and emerging technologies in offshore engineering, and proactively apply this knowledge to enhance project performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including marine engineers, structural designers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture or a related field.
- Strong academic background, ideally with a focus on offshore engineering and structural analysis.
- Solid understanding of naval architecture principles, hydrodynamics, and offshore engineering concepts.
- Ideally have exposure to relevant software e.g. OrcaFlex, SACS, ANSYS, MOSES.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
