Role: Vessel Manager
Location: Marseille
Focus: Technical vessel management across an active trading fleet

A well established international shipowner and operator with a strong operational presence in the Mediterranean. The business is known for stable ownership, high technical standards and long term investment in its fleet and people. This role sits within a lean and experienced shore based team supporting vessels trading worldwide.
The Role
This is a hands on Vessel Manager position with full technical responsibility for a small number of vessels. You will oversee planned maintenance, dry dockings, budgets, class and statutory compliance while working closely with ship staff and approved suppliers. The role offers genuine autonomy and visibility within the organisation, with decision making kept close to the technical team.
About You
You will be an experienced Vessel Manager or Technical Superintendent with proven responsibility for vessels in operation. A Chief Engineer background is strongly preferred. You are commercially aware, comfortable managing budgets and dry docks, and confident dealing with class, flag and third party managers.
