A market leading provider of maritime safety and security solutions is looking for an entry level Duty Analyst to join their high performing operations team in Southampton. - Monitor and analyse global maritime security incidents in real time
- Share actionable intelligence with global stakeholders
- Escalate priority events and help maintain 24/7 situational awareness
- Assess the credibility of sources and the reliability of information
- Provide accurate, timely advice directly to vessel masters
- A degree in History, Politics, International Relations, Criminology, Security Studies, Foreign Languages or a related field
- A critical thinker who can question sources and evaluate evidence carefully
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with clarity and precision
- Detail oriented and analytical, with good judgement
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn
- No prior experience required — full training provided
- Interest in maritime security and political risk
- Helpful (but not essential) if you have some familiarity with how to gather and analyse public or image based intelligence, but not essential
- Shift pattern: Four days on, four days off (including nights and weekends), rotating across Day (08:00–16:30), Late (16:00–00:30), and Early (00:00–08:30) shifts
- Location: Based in Southampton– right to work in the UK is essential (no sponsorship provided)
- Salary: £25,000 per annum, increasing to £27,500 after successful probation period
- Annual leave: 25 days plus public holidays
- Development: Full training, ongoing mentorship, and exposure to international security operations
