As an Enterprise Solution Architect you will play a pivotal role in architecting and designing IT solutions for our software product company and aliging same with the wider service portfolio if the ISV. We are looking for an individual who possesses the following important requirements:
Experience as an Architect and Design Authority:
- Lead and oversee architecture and design activities, including review boards and documentation, for an IT software product company covering the maritime value chain;
- Develop and maintain a strategic vision for technology and architecture in alignment with the organization's goals;
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards in solution design.
- Transition the proven best practices from aviation into the maritime sector.
- Enterprise Architecture the scale-up of our ISV business;
- Select , document and implement cloud-native principles and platform strategies to build greenfield product or enhance product offerings;
- Drive data exchange capabilities to support seamless integration with other systems and services.
- Proven track record in an industry of similar scope and spectrum of challenges.
- Apply key principles of IT systems integration, promoting composability in architecture, modularity of the portfolio, and land & expand in the go to market;
- Design solutions that facilitate the smooth exchange of data and services across our software products.
- Provide guidance and design to cost tradeoff on how to select and grow with a tech platform framework.
- Remain at the fore front of the latest methods, solutions, and market trends in the ISV Industry to be a trusted architect for our product roadmap and customer project needs.
- Develop future-state solution architectures, design transformation roadmaps, and offer advice on execution.
- Act as the end-to-end solution authority from deployment to operation, including CI/CD and DevOps;
- Lead and participate in various transformation workstreams, such as IT strategies, technology assessments, software development, cloud migrations, and procurement strategies.
- Interact with CxO level executives across the Travel and transportation industries.
- Foster innovation and develop winning strategies for our clients as the industry evolves.
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing innovative solutions and coordinating the documentation of architectural blueprints.
- Act as a trusted advisor for trends in cloud, IoT, automation, data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, DevOps, agile methodologies, blockchain, and other relevant domains.

- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- More than 5 years of experience in transformational technology, digital solutions, integration services, and consulting.
- Proven hands on expertise in design, deployment, configuration, operation, and support for strategic projects.
- Strong consultative selling skills, collaborating closely with customer executives and internal senior management.
- Coordinating design activity between key architectures and IT functions to ensure alignment with business and IT strategy.
- Enthusiasm for staying up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the IT industry.
- Experience with enterprise applications and Hyperscaler / Platform technologies, such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft 365, and ServiceNow.
- Experience with methodologies and tools like Design Thinking, Roadmapping, Enterprise Architecture Frameworks, TOGAF, and Agile frameworks (SAFe).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with fluency in English.
- 5+ years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of data-driven software solutions for an ISV.
- Hands-on experience in building high-quality distributed systems and microservices, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and observability.
- Experience with containers and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Proficiency in integration patterns and best practices, domain-driven design, and event-driven patterns.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, automation, agile methodologies, automated testing, and code quality.
- Broad knowledge of technologies for building customer systems, including web portals, and mobile apps under consideration of remote/ offline connectivity.
- Experience with distributed streaming or processing platforms such as Kafka or cloud-based alternatives.
- Previous experience in transforming heterogeneous and conservative industries with state of the art software architecture
