Are you an experienced Engineering Manager looking for a challenging opportunity in the offshore oil and gas industry? Our client is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to manage and execute Transportation & Installation (T&I) engineering scopes, collaborating with the Project Management Team to ensure successful project delivery.
As the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities include ensuring the quality of installation engineering deliverables, managing internal and external engineering interfaces, serving as the main contact with the client's Engineering counterpart, providing technical guidance to the team, monitoring progress and budget, and identifying scope changes promptly. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential in managing a team of engineers and achieving project success.
Key requirements:
- 10-15 years of offshore oil & gas industry experience, including managing engineering teams.
- Experience in EPCI or T&I offshore construction projects.
- Strong understanding of T&I operations from an engineering perspective.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong project management skills, including budget and schedule management.
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team of engineers and drafters.
- Knowledge of offshore regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools, eg. CAD software, FEA software, simulation software, etc.
- Currently based in Singapore and willingness to travel as required throughout various project phases.
