As DP Marine Assurance Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of dynamic positioning (DP) systems on marine vessels. Your responsibilities include conducting thorough reviews and assessments of DP systems to ensure regulatory compliance and identify areas for improvement. You'll also analyze operational risks, provide technical support and guidance to personnel, monitor system performance, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain accurate documentation, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the DP assurance framework.
Key Requirements:
- Ex Master Mariner or Ex Chief Engineer with substantial working experience with offshore support vessels, drill ships, PSV, Pipelay vessels, etc.
- Holds relevant DP certification and possess extensive experience in dynamic positioning operations in offshore or marine sectors.
- Strong understanding of DP system principles, components, and operation.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Presently based in Mumbai
