A fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst to join Northern Marine Group, supporting the NMMS Chevron function within a global marine services.
Reporting to: HR Team Leader
Location: Glasgow
As a Data Analyst you will support the Chevron personnel department in delivering data analytics and Power BI reporting in line with Client requirements. You will be responsible for compiling accurate, client specific reports and providing detailed analysis to support effective decision making across crewing and HR operations.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
Relevant experience in business data analytics or business information systems.
A degree is desirable but not essential where strong practical experience is demonstrated.
Experience producing dashboard based reporting in Power BI or similar tools.
Experience analysing HR or operational datasets.
Experience working with data systems such as HRIS, ERP, or industry specific platforms such as COMPAS.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to collate, interpret and present data clearly, both visually and verbally.
Experience conducting data quality checks and analysing trends.
Confidence working with third parties and internal stakeholders to meet department objectives.
Knowledge of the shipping industry and marine personnel procedures would be advantageous but is not essential.
Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and respond to ad hoc Client requests with a structured and analytical approach.
