JOB PURPOSE
The Corporate Tour Manager must ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction in order to generate the maximum possible revenue from the sale to guests of optional Shore Excursions in every port of call.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Coordinates and supervises all Shore Excursions activities onbard and in shore side offices.
• Keeps updated Manuals of the Department and implements standard procedures for all Shore Excursions Offices worldwide (Bidding Manual, Tour Operators Handbooks, Pricing Manual, etc.).
• Coordinates marketing activities with Corporate On-Board Marketing Department for Shore Excursions projects (tours shooting, special project, etc.).
• Negotiates Ground Services Activities with local ground operators in all ports and in the following areas: South Africa, Emirates, Red Sea, Mediterranean, and Northern Europe.
• Negotiates Meet & Great Services Activities with local ground operators in all ports and in the following areas: South Africa, Emirates, Red Sea, Mediterranean, and Northern Europe.
QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)
• Fluent English. Any other language is a very strong advantage.
• A current and accurate knowledge (historic, geographical, cultural and commercial) on most of ports of call in the designated program and a detailed understanding of the excursions conducted in those ports, focusing on the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
• Around 10 years’ experience in the position of: a tour manager in the cruise industry or on land; tour operator, with particular focus on the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
• Knowledge of Fidelio or any other Cruise reservation and ticketing systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Drive•Stress Tolerance.
• Customer Focus.
• Analytical Skills.
