Faststream is recruiting for a Contracts Specialist for Chartered Vessels in the ME/Africa region. You'll be responsible for the complete life cycle of Charter Party Agreements, from pre-award to closeout.
You'll be based out of the Dubai office with daily responsibilities being in accordance with company procedures and ethics, identifying criticalities, addressing gaps, and ensuring back-to-back terms with main contracts. Your responsibilities will include commercial and contractual analysis, timely reporting, organizing kick-off meetings, and managing document control.
Post-award activities such as contract call-off, invoicing, negotiation, and insurance claims will also fall under your purview. You'll be hands-on with BIMCO contract management and SMARTCON, ensuring industry standards are met.
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas or 3 years specifically in Chartering Vessel agreements. Strong negotiation skills, proficiency in English (French/Portuguese is a plus), and excellent knowledge of BIMCO contracts and vessel types are essential.
Additionally, you should possess analytical skills, business acumen, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP systems.
