We are partnering with an established international shipping business to appoint a Crewing Manager to support their offshore operations. This is a key position responsible for ensuring high-quality crew delivery, strong client relationships, and operational excellence across a fleet of vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for all crewing matters between fleet operations and clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding operational needs and challenges
- Oversee end-to-end crewing delivery, ensuring compliance with agreed KPIs, budgets, and service standards
- Develop and implement crewing strategies to support crew performance, retention, and future growth
- Lead onboarding and mobilisation plans for new vessels and projects
- Monitor crew performance, compliance, and incident reporting, ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Manage officer promotion pipelines and support talent development initiatives
- Work closely with internal teams across operations, technical, and crewing to ensure seamless service delivery
- Support budgeting processes and track crewing costs against forecasts
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in crewing operations within the maritime industry
- Strong understanding of offshore vessel operations and client requirements
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies
- Experience in handling crew performance, compliance, and incident management
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive and solutions-driven approach
