Seeking a experienced Claims Manager based in Cyprus!
Responsibility for claims handling performance of the Syndicate Manager’s claims team, staff development, management, and motivation.
PLEASE NOTE MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN CYPRUS TO BE ELIGIBLE.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate, monitor, and supervise claims work to meet service levels and uphold company procedures.
- Handle major claims in accordance with company protocols.
- Provide updates to the Claims Director and Syndicate Head of Claims on significant developments and team-related matters.
- Lead and guide the claims team in Cyprus, ensuring effective communication and file management.
- Conduct annual appraisals of claims team members.
- Address client issues outside office hours as needed.
Person Specification
- Prior experience handling complex P&I and FD&D insurance claims.
- Previous experience in a P&I Club, Law Firm or Shipowner
- Demonstrated management experience.
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
