This role involves managing a portfolio of marine insurance claims, including Hull & Machinery (H&M), Loss of Hire, and Protection & Indemnity (P&I) claims, with a particular focus on casualty incidents. The position requires close collaboration with regional and global claims teams to review coverage issues, analyse claims documentation, assess policy terms, and pursue recovery opportunities.
The successful candidate will manage a dynamic caseload while maintaining strong relationships with clients and brokers. You will work alongside an experienced and collaborative team based in Singapore and across international offices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and manage H&M, Loss of Hire, and P&I claims, particularly casualty-related cases
- Review insurance policy terms and assess coverage positions
- Analyse claims documentation and support recovery efforts where applicable
- Coordinate closely with internal claims teams across global offices
- Manage communications with clients, brokers, and relevant stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a claim
- Participate in negotiations and support claims resolution processes
- Maintain strong client and broker relationships while delivering high-quality service
- Experienced in a marine technical, nautical, legal, or shipping-related role
- Prior experience in marine insurance or claims handling is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and motivated to learn and share knowledge
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
