Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • To handle all aspects of a cargo claim from receipt of first advice to settlement.
  • Appointing surveyors, corresponding with insured/claimant/insurer/third party experts.
  • Requesting for and analysing claim documentation.
  • Providing coverage opinions to Principal.
  • Attending meetings with agents, brokers or Insured’s to resolve claims and claim disputes.
  • To carry out duties in accordance with the Company’s Claims Procedures.
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in similar field dealing with Cargo Claims,
  • Team player, positive attitude, Able to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise and handle a high volume of claims.
  • Committed and highly motivated individuals
