Job Description


Provide expert claims handling and foster strong relationships with our Members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and maintain relationships with existing Members.
  • Manage assigned claims, offer guidance on claims issues, and identify loss prevention needs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely electronic filing of all claim-related correspondence.
  • Contribute to the improvement of company procedures and systems.
  • Write articles for Club publications.
  • Support Underwriting objectives.
  • Engage with service providers, including correspondents, lawyers, and brokers.
  • Participate in relevant training to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Person Specification:

  • Maritime Degree educated or equivalent.
  • Understanding of P&I Insurance
  • Basic experience in insurance claims is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build effective business relationships.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and team-oriented.
