Faststream is currently searching for an experienced Chartering Manager to join a very reputable and successful ship owner in Hamburg.
This role will require someone with a strong background in MPP/Heavy Lift vessels. You will be responsible for calculating freight rates, understanding client requirements, negotiating contract details, tender management, preparing client proposals, monitoring vessel space and availability as well as developing new accounts. This will have a focus both on maintaining key accounts as well as business development with contacts within EPCs.
You will be joining a strong name in the market with room for progression and exposure to all aspects of the business. There is a clear approach in encouraging employees to learn and progress as well as a strong ethic of teamwork and quick decision-making by management. You will ideally have the right to work in Germany for this role.
