Seeking highly motivated and experienced Chartering Executive to join their team, specifically focused on the Supramax desk. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dry bulk shipping and possess fluency in the Japanese language.
Open to talents looking to relocate to Singapore for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the end-to-end chartering operations for Supramax vessels, including but not limited to fixture negotiations, voyage planning, and post-fixture operations.
- Negotiate and finalize charter contracts, including terms and conditions, rates, laytime calculations, and other commercial aspects
- Fluency in Japanese is essential to communicate effectively with Japanese clients and counterparts.
- Strong working knowledge of the dry bulk shipping industry, particularly in the Supramax segment, including market dynamics, vessel types, cargo types, and operational considerations.
