Are you an experienced trader with a sharp eye for market trends and a deep understanding of products like Gasoil, Middle Distillates, Petrochemicals, or Gasoline? In this role, you will develop and execute trading strategies, manage risk exposure, and work closely with logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless trade execution. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement trading strategies focused on maximizing profitability.
  • Perform comprehensive market research to evaluate supply-demand dynamics, pricing trends, and arbitrage possibilities.
  • Cultivate and sustain productive partnerships with refiners, vendors, clients, storage facilities, and shipping companies.
  • Act as the company’s representative in commercial negotiations and industry discussions.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics, operations, and finance departments to ensure seamless trade execution.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely handling of contracts, documentation, and trade settlements.
  • Maintain strict compliance with internal policies, trading thresholds, and external regulatory standards.
  • Monitor trade results, analyze P&L data, and refine trading strategies based on performance insights.
  • Proactively identify potential clients and commercial opportunities to grow the company's trading portfolio.
  • Manage trading exposure and book performance in alignment with the company’s risk management framework.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in trading Gasoil, Middle Distillates, Petrochemicals, and Gasoline.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering strong trading performance with consistent, measurable results.
  • In-depth expertise in risk assessment, hedging strategies, speculative trading, and price forecasting tools.
  • Well-established network of industry contacts, including suppliers, traders, and end-users.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with strong skills in negotiation and relationship management.
  • Proven capacity to perform under pressure while juggling multiple priorities in a high-speed trading environment.
