Ready to make your mark in global oil and shipping operations? Join a global energy trading company as a skilled and detail-oriented Operations Executive, managing the full operational lifecycle of physical trades in Middle Distillates and Gasoline – including end-to-end cargo and shipping operations. As the vital link between Trading, Shipping, Credit, and Finance, your work will help drive performance across global transactions.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage all cargo-related documentation, including voyage instructions, B/L details, and coordination with surveyors and inspection agencies.
  • Accurately input and maintain cargo data in internal trading platforms, ensuring real-time updates on shipment volumes, load/discharge dates, and associated operational costs.
  • Oversee the full operational cycle of physical trades in Middle Distillates and Gasoline, from post-deal confirmation through to final delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory standards, and sanctions compliance throughout the operational process.
  • Administer storage operations by monitoring stock levels, performing reconciliations, and reporting discrepancies or issues.
  • Act as a key liaison across internal functions such as Shipping, Credit, and Finance, ensuring effective communication and alignment on each transaction.
  • Provide timely support to the trading desk.
  
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet tight deadlines.
  • 5 years’ operational experience in cargo handling.
  • Solid grasp of oil industry terms and commercial practices, including exposure to contracts, trade execution, and transaction lifecycles.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable navigating time-sensitive and high-pressure scenarios with precision and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with key shipping procedures, including charterparties, voyage planning, and operational documentation.
  • Skilled in using business and trading systems, along with general computer literacy (e.g., Excel, Outlook, and relevant platforms).
  • Organized, analytical, and solution-oriented, with a methodical approach to handling operational data and tasks.
