Faststream is partnering with a leading 3rd party ship management to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager in Singapore.

This is a front-line commercial role for someone who knows how to sell ship management services, build trust with shipowners, and grow market share.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Winning new ship management contracts and expanding existing accounts.
  • Building strong relationships with shipowners, operators, and investors – especially in Southeast Asia Region + China.
  • Presenting and negotiating high-value technical & crew management solutions.
  • Acting as the bridge between clients and internal operations to ensure service excellence.
What we’re looking for:
  • Proven track record in business development within a ship management firm.
  • Able to create operating expense budgets for technical management and crew management of ships.
  • Strong network with shipowners across Asia.
  • Fluent in Mandarin & English – essential for engaging Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
  • Commercially driven, results-focused, and ready to make an impact.
