Boarding Agent – Houston 

Are you a seasoned maritime agency professional with strong experience in the Houston maritime industry, particularly tanker operations? Are you known for your reliability, operational expertise, and excellent client relationships? If so, we want to hear from you.
Our client is seeking a Boarding Agent to join their new Houston office. This is a critical operational role for an experienced professional who can manage tanker visits, ensure smooth port operations, and represent the company as the first point of contact for clients.
�� Key Responsibilities
  • Vessel Operations: Manage and coordinate tanker visits in Houston
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to grow the business.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure all aspects of ship boarding, documentation, and coordination with port authorities run efficiently.
  • Office Support: Support the establishment and smooth operation of the Houston office.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with vendors, port authorities, and clients to negotiate operational requirements and contracts.
�� What We’re Looking For
  • Strong experience in maritime agency operations, preferably in tanker services.
  • In-depth knowledge of Houston port operations and local industry contacts.
  • Proven reliability, flexibility, and professional references demonstrating strong work ethic.
  • Ability to develop business opportunities and grow the company’s presence in U.S. ports.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs arise
  • Prior sailing experience is preferred but not mandatory
�� Compensation Salary: $60,000 – $85,000
