My client is a leading offshore vessel owner and operator, looking to hire a SOV Assistant Project Engineer to be based in Aberdeen, UK in an exciting newly created role.
In this role, you will provide technical support to the newly delivered SOV vessels once they arrive in the UK. You will assist with technical issues, manage and maintain vessel documents and support with handovers on the newly delivered ships.
The Ideal candidate will have: -
- Sailed experience as 2nd Engineer/ ETO in the Offshore sector
- Hold a minimum 2nd Engineer Unlimited Certificate of Competency or Electrical qualifications
- Diesel Electric DP2 experience
In order to be considered you must have the existing right to live and work in the UK. You must either be based in Aberdeen or be willing to relocate when this becomes necessary.
