Faststream is exclusively supporting the UKs leading port operator to hire a VTS Manager to be based in in the North East of the UK.

In this role you will be responsible for the operational management of a large VTS team, responsible for training and development of the team. You will be involved in the incident management response team and carry out risk assessments to ensure the services are running in line with Port Marie Safety Code, amongst various other duties.
The ideal candidate will have:-
  • VTS Management experience
  • Sea going background as Deck Officer desirable
  • People management experience  
  • Knowledge of Port Marine Safety Code
  • People management experience
