Our client - a company under a global maritime conglomerate, is undergoing expansion and is presently having a vacancy for a Training Superintendent in their office in Lae, Papua New Guinea.
As a Training Superintendent, you will take on a hands-on role in conducting crew training, ensuring that the crew are properly equipped with the skillsets required for them to perform in their roles, as well as improving safety awareness. You will also provide support, when required, in the safe and efficient operation of a fleet consisting of general cargo ships, tugs and barges, enforce compliance with safety and regulatory standards, conduct inspections, and implement best practices to enhance both safety and operational performance.

- Former Chief Officer / Master Mariner with proven track record in conducting crew training.
- Strong understanding of marine safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to foster teamwork and collaboration.
