You will oversee the technical operations of a bulk carrier fleet, ensuring high standards of safety, performance, and cost control. The role involves close coordination with ship staff, vendors, and internal teams, focusing on preventive maintenance, drydocking planning, and continuous operational improvement. Occasional vessel visits are part of the role.
Key Requirements
- Experience with bulk carriers and or container ships
- Solid understanding of modern propulsion and onboard systems
- Hands-on drydocking and maintenance planning experience
- Shore-based technical superintendent or senior sailing engineer background
