Faststream is working with a dynamic and innovative tech company that provides online delivered data and analytical products to the Maritime industry. We are searching for a client facing Technical Sales Lead to support and advise the sales team and clients on all technical requests.

As a Technical Sales Lead you will sit predominantly within the Sales team, but you will also have a strong link into the Development team, with a view to becoming the technical liaison between the two teams. You will deal directly with clients, understand their technical requests/needs and advise them on how we can deliver an existing or if required new solutions.

  • Supporting clients with technical requests on company products and API's
  • Supporting the sales team with technical expertise
  • Specifying and exposure to logical algorithims and software processes
  • Technical liaison between Sales and Development teams
  • Product demonstrations and presentations
The requirements...
  • 3+ years’ experience in a client facing, technical support role
  • Experience operating in a B2B, target driven, sales environment
  • Strong data interpretation skills with a logical and creative mindset
  • Experience working with the development of web applications including APIs
  • High level of database normalisation and SQL databases is desirable
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills demonstrated under pressure
  • Relevant technical qualification
  • Experience ideally in the Maritime or a related industry is strongly preferred
