Role Summary
The Technical Executive ensures the smooth and safe operation of assigned vessels, working closely with the ship management team. Responsibilities include coordinating technical support between vessels and vendors, managing spare parts and inventories, maintaining vessel documentation, supporting dry docking activities, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
You will track vessel performance, produce regular technical reports, oversee system updates, monitor key operational data, and flag any abnormalities. The role demands accuracy, timely communication, and strong collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
Requirements
- Diploma in Marine Engineering or a related field (CoC Class 5/4/3 advantageous)
- Experience with ship management software (e.g., DNV, Amos, PAL, Bassnet) preferred
- 1-2 years' experience in marine ship management or vessel ownership
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
