Faststream is excited to be partnering with Navigare Capital Partners in the search for a Technical Director to join the team in Denmark. This is a fantastic role with a highly experienced and professional business that in its first 5 years has grown from strength to strength.
Navigare Capital Partners invests in maritime assets in existing modern vessels or new-buildings, as well as in maritime asset-backed securities and debt from the financial sector. The assets are vessels within different shipping segments creating a diversified portfolio.
The company's purpose is to acquire attractive assets, secure suitable employment ranging, and to optimize the timely exit of the assets. In a truly global market, Navigare Capital Partners cooperates with a trusted network amongst international shipowners, trading houses, first-class shipyards and shipbrokers from around the world for the screening and selection of investment and disinvestment deals, while engaging with strong counterparts for employment of the tonnage.
This is an opportunity to join a great team who takes pride in its work and strives to continue taking the business forward. In this role, you be assigned a mixed fleet of vessels and will be responsible for ensuring they are managed to the highest standards by the third-party managers, you will ensure they are meeting all company and industry standards. You will also take part in pre-purchase surveys ensuring the assets taken into the fleet are suitable for the company's needs as future investments.
To be considered for this role you will have extensive vessel management experience with either a Deck or Engine background and you will have worked with either another fund management business with maritime assets or come from a vessel owner or manager. You will be able to support/contribute to management decisions and be confident in ensuring assets are managed to the correct industry and company standards.
