Faststream have partnered with a dynamic international organisation who specialise in providing a range of technical services including technical advisory for spill response, claims analysis & damage assessment, contingency planning and training and education.
They are looking to attract and engage a Technical Advisor to join their growing team in Singapore.
The main responsibilities for this role are to provide objective technical advice in relation to accidental spills of oil, chemicals or products on a global basis. Alongside this you will be providing technical knowledge for damage assessments, claims analysis and contingency planning. You will also be required to deliver training and educational seminars where required.
You will be working with a range of clients including ship owners, ship managers, P&I clubs, governments.
This position will involve extensive global travel and is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders from different countries and backgrounds.
The ideal candidate for this role with have studied to Masters level in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline and will have ideally gained experience in a commercial setting. Those who have practical experience of pollution control and/or the effects of pollution on marine resources will be held in high regard.
