- Responsible for technical management of assigned Tanker vessels including inspections, repairs, maintenance, and dry docking.
- Liaise with vessel crews to ensure smooth communication and coordination of vessel maintenance and repairs.
- Manage and oversee contractors and service providers involved in vessel maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Manage budgets and expenses related to vessel maintenance and repairs.
- Continuously monitor vessel performance and provide recommendations to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Marine Engineering or related field.
- Previous experience working as a Technical Superintendent for Tanker vessels is desirable but not essential.
- A sea going background as Chief engineer on tankers is essential.
- Good understanding of relevant international and local maritime regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and vessel management software.
