Tanker HSEQ Superintendent

You will need to have experience of oil and chemical tankers, and have sailed with a senior deck officer rank. This experience is essential in order to ensure that you can effectively oversee the HSEQ function and provide the necessary support and guidance.

In addition to the requirements outlined in the advert, we are looking for someone who has:

• Extensive experience of working with oil and chemical tankers
• Sailed in a senior deck officer rank (e.g. Chief Officer or Master Mariner)
• Familiarity with international regulations and standards relating to the transport of hazardous materials
• Strong knowledge of risk management and incident investigation techniques
• Providing training and support to staff on HSEQ matters
• Liaising with clients and external stakeholders to ensure their HSEQ requirements are met
• Investigating and reporting on incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions where necessary
