Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of oil tankers, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely voyage execution.
  • Coordinate with Masters, Agents, and Terminals for port calls, cargo operations, and clearances.
  • Prepare and handle voyage documentation and port clearance papers.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and Charter Party terms.
  • Calculate laytime and prepare demurrage/dispatch claims.
  • Track vessel schedules, bunker usage, and voyage performance for reporting and cost control.
  • Support the chartering team with fixture follow-ups, recap review, and Charter Party execution.
  • Maintain accurate voyage records and ensure proper document filing and reporting.
  • Contribute to operational risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in oil tanker operations is mandatory (clean or dirty cargoes).
  • Basic understanding of chartering processes and Charter Party terms.
  • Proficient in demurrage calculation and shipping documentation.
  • This role is looking for someone already based in Singapore.
