Job Description

Our client is a well established broking house with global presence and reputation in the market. They are looking for an experienced Ship Broker in Singapore to negotiate spot cargoes, allocate contract cargoes, and maximize vessel financial results in line with market conditions. The ideal candidate should have a successful background in Dry Cargo Broking, be driven, focused, and skilled in relationship building.

Responsibilities:
  • Grow time charter activities in the Pacific/Indian Ocean markets, focusing on handy-ultra segments.
  • Nurture existing client associations.
  • Identify and cultivate new clients/markets.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with the local handy/ultra market dynamics and players is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
