Job Description


We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support regional and global customers within a maritime automation environment. This role focuses on customer support, commissioning and servicing of ICMS and propulsion/steering control systems, with opportunities to work onboard vessels, on refit/retrofit projects, and through remote technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer support, commissioning and service for merchant and automation product ranges
  • Deliver field service activities across South East Asia and build strong client relationships
  • Carry out workshop testing, technical preparation, and proper execution of assigned work
  • Produce service reports and maintain technical documentation and databases
  • Provide remote guidance, backend technical support, and support refit/retrofit projects
  • Assist the sales team with technical input and handle related administrative tasks
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
  • 3–5 years’ experience in alarm monitoring and control systems
  • Experience with shipboard automation, ICMS, propulsion/steering systems, DCS, and power management
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and basic software
  • Relevant experience within the maritime industry
Hands-on experience with main engines and thrusters is a strong advantage.
