This role offers the opportunity to work on vessels worldwide, supporting customers with technical service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cargo handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and repair of cargo instrumentation systems, including level gauges, pressure and temperature transmitters, and gas detection/alarm systems on gas carriers
- Troubleshoot cargo measuring and monitoring equipment onboard vessels
- Participate in the overhaul of cargo deepwell pumps and safety relief valves together with senior service engineers
- Support service jobs carried out onboard vessels during voyages or dry-docking
- Ensure service work is delivered to a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Engineering background in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Automation, or similar disciplines
- Experience in the maritime or marine service industry is advantageous
- Knowledge of LPG/LNG gas carriers will be highly beneficial
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Comfortable with international travel and working in dynamic environments
- Proficient in basic documentation and tools such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
