Our client, a top-tier global company specializing in tanker vessel chartering and operations, is seeking a skilled and experienced Shipping Operations professional to join their team in Houston. This position involves providing operational support for Dirty and Clean Petroleum Products for their time-chartered fleet. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Chartering department and Cargo Operations to ensure seamless and efficient vessel operations.

Key responsibilities of this role include managing pre-fixture and post-fixture of commercial operations, optimizing tank-cleaning time and cargo stowage plans, monitoring vessel movement and weather routing, and handling bunker planning and procurement. In addition, the candidate will liaise with owners and agents to ensure the vessel's quick turnaround in port, prepare necessary documents for interim port calculations and claims, and establish relationships with third-party suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Maritime or relevant qualification with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in Shipping Operations for a trading house or ship owner. Strong commercial awareness, dispute resolution skills, and excellent communication abilities are essential. The candidate must be results-driven, able to work independently and as part of a team.
