In this high-impact position, you’ll support vessel operations globally, shape marine procedures, and strengthen safety and compliance across the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide marine advice to operational and project teams, supporting safe and efficient vessel performance
- Oversee compliance with maritime standards including ISM, ISPS, OCIMF, and MLC
- Act as Deputy DPA and CSO, ensuring regulatory readiness and best practices
- Lead vessel mobilisations, marine audits, inspections, and DP trials
- Coach vessel Masters to build marine capabilities and leadership at sea
- Support tenders and new project planning with marine input
- Monitor fuel usage and vessel activities to enhance operational efficiency
- Attend client safety reviews, HAZIDs, and industry forums as company representative
- Master Mariner (Class 1 Deck COC)
- DPA and CSO certified, with ISM Lead Auditor credentials
- Deep understanding of offshore marine compliance and auditing (OVID/CMID)
- Proven track record in managing IMR or DSV vessels
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and business compliance systems
