Faststream is Recruiting for a Senior Manager - Liner Operations for a reputable ship owning company in Oman. This role focuses on optimizing vessel utilisation, ensuring safe cargo stowage, and enhancing terminal productivity. The ideal candidate will excel in stakeholder communication, contract management, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operational effectiveness through proactive stakeholder interaction.
  • Oversee vessel performance and effectively manage contracts and agreements.
  • Lead improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to drive success.
  • Ensure safe and efficient cargo stowage, prioritizing operational efficiency.
  • Lead performance feedback sessions and maintain terminal oversight.
Requirements: 
  • Nautical education or technical degree.
  • Minimum 10 years in container shipping with vessel planning experience. 
  • In-depth knowledge of terminal and vessel operations.
  • Proficiency in computer systems.
  • Understanding of shipping agency business.
