The Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive experience in supervising construction, installation, commissioning and acceptance of machinery systems and equipment related to marine engineering disciplines.
- Expertise in supervising and commissioning machinery systems installation ensuring safety, maintainability and longevity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of main and auxiliary machinery, engines, LNG systems, engine room systems, tanks, propulsions, shaft lines, fuel and waste disposal systems, steam and water production and technical outfitting.
- Proven experience of being accountable for overall site management.
- Experience within multiple yards on a variety of newbuild projects.
- Understanding of complex vessel structures (LNG, Offshore).
- Knowledge and experience with engine inspections and preservation of installed equipment.
